Born and raised in The Town, she didn't discover music. She inherited it. As a descendant of the Grammy-winning Gospel Hummingbirds, she was raised in a heritage of faith, storytelling, and soul long before she ever stepped onto a stage of her own. What followed was never a pursuit of music as much as a commitment to carrying it forward.
An award-winning vocalist, international recording artist, songwriter, producer, actress, event host, and co-founder of SoulGlo Productions, LLC, THE Soulsanger has built a career that defies easy categorization.
Her sound moves effortlessly through soul, gospel, R&B, hip hop, theater, and beyond. Genre doesn't bind her—it just gets borrowed for the night.
Over the course of her career, she has shared stages and studios with artists including Patti LaBelle, Kelly Price, Carlos Santana, MC Hammer, and LaRussell.
Bay Area audiences and beyond may not always know her name, but they know her voice. She created the hook to Mac Dre's classic "Make You Mine" in a single studio session—called in to help shape another artist's record, she came up with the concept on the spot and recorded it that day. Days later, Mac Dre heard it and wanted it for his own album instead. He passed not long after. The song became his classic. The hook became part of her legacy—credited or not.
Among the creative relationships that have most significantly shaped her journey is her ongoing work with Grammy-winning producer Narada Michael Walden. What began as an introduction evolved into years of collaboration, creative exchange, mentorship, and mutual respect—helping sharpen her artistry, expand her vision, and reinforce a lesson she now carries into every room: excellence recognizes excellence.
Her credits span radio, film, theater, live production, and recording. A Bay Area Rising Star and Best Vocalist award recipient, she has received KMEL airplay, contributed vocals to Warner Bros.' The Invasion, and built a reputation as a trusted collaborator whose voice and creative instincts are sought after both onstage and behind the scenes.

Her relationship with the stage began in church and childhood theater and continues today through both dramatic and musical performance.
